The Second Global Bamboo and Rattan Congress

On 7-8 November, 2022, the 25th Anniversary of the Founding of the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) and the Second Global Bamboo and Rattan Congress (BARC 2022) were convened in Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the congress, and congratulatory videos or messages from President Paul Biya of Cameroon, President Guillermo Lasso of Ecuador and President Sahle-Work Zewde of Ethiopia were broadcast at the plenary session.Cao Jianming, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, attended the opening ceremony, and read out the congratulatory letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping before delivering a speech.BARC 2022, coinciding with INBAR’s 25th?anniversary, was organized by Solutions for Sustainable Development.” Over 1000 participants from member states of INBAR, international organizations and non-governmental organizations as well as research institutes, universities and enterprises are set to participate in the two-day hybrid conference in both offline and online formats, making great progress in mainstreaming bamboo and rattan as important forest resources in the battle against climate change, the biodiversity crisis and global poverty.As the official PCO, China Star provided full service for this hybrid conference.

China Star Provides full PCO services for the 39th IUPS Congress (IUPS2022)

From May 7 to 11, 2022, the International Union of Physical Sciences (IUPS) and the Chinese Association for Physical Sciences (CAPS) jointly hosted virtually the 39th IUPS Congress (IUPS 2022) in Beijing, China, with the theme of "Marvels of Life – Integration and Translation" In this 5-day congress, 4219 participants from 71 different countries and regions have been registered, including 729 international participants and 3490 domestic attendees. This congress sets an excellent platform for international scientific exchange in the physiology community and also provides a good opportunity for Chinese physiologists to further promote and strengthen international ties by presenting our current research achievements. In accordance with the theme of the congress, 7 plenary lectures, 21 keynote lectures are arranged and 48 symposia, 4 Young Physiologist Symposia, 5 sponsor symposia, 3 satellite meetings, and 2 pre & post- congress teaching workshops are organized to cover current important fields of physiology. All the academic activities present a panoramic overview of current advances in physiological sciences. Nearly 800,000 minutes of viewing on PC and smartphones were registered. It was indeed an excellent showcase for global physiology! China Star provided full PCO services for the conference.

China Star Provides full PCO services for Advanced Membrane Technology Summit for Water Treatment 2021

IWA specialist group on “Membrane Technology” China, Advanced Membrane Technology Center, AMTC of Tongji University, and State Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resource jointly held Advanced Membrane Technology Summit for Water Treatment in Shanghai from October 15 to 17, 2021. The theme of this forum is "Sustainable Development of Membrane Technology for Water Treatment under the Background of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality". And the main topics are “Membrane Water and Wastewater Treatment”, “New Theory of Membrane Process”, “New Membrane and New Type Membrane Module, “New Membrane Process and Combined Process”, “Sustainable Membrane Technology for Water Treatment”, “Industrial Application of Membrane Technology”, etc. Well-known experts at home and abroad were invited to make the keynote reports of the conference. At the same time, with other rich academic events like poster and postgraduate seminar. China Star provided full PCO services for the conference.
